Priests of the Sacred Heart worked with MKB in the adaptation of a 1920’s courtyard apartment building for the home of their religious community located in the heart of Hyde Park.

Extensive structural modifications to the forty-one unit building were required to achieve a common reception area, living room, dining room, library, chapel, and offices.

A three-story rear addition includes new corridors connecting previously separated apartments. Use of a former ground floor retail space as the chapel offers the Priests of the Sacred Heart a strong presence in the neighborhood community.
