MKB Architects worked with Catholic Charities to create a master plan with both shelter and permanent supportive housing programs for families, men, and women in Joliet. The project includes a new 80-100 bed shelter facility, a renovated kitchen, dining/community room, and permanent supportive housing units. The new entrance provides access to a new Resource Center, where it is open to non-residents during the day for daily lunchtime meals, a computer lounge, and counseling and healthcare services.
