MKB Architects provided architectural services for a new Parish Hall addition for a Lincoln Park congregation with a historic 1888 landmark church and rectory. The challenge was to design a three-story, 20,000 square foot addition on a restricted site within a dense urban neighborhood. The Parish Hall provides space for adult and youth ministry, administration space, and meeting rooms. Liturgical and infrastructure renovations to the historic sanctuary were also included. Social services for the homeless will include a dining/kitchen area, counseling rooms, and washroom/shower facilities.
